Stage 1 of Second Assignment

For the second assignment we're required to select one media artist that inspired ourself. So i decided to choose Ivan Aivazovsky. He was a Russian world-renowned painter of Armenian descent living and working in Crimea. Most famous for his seascapes, which constitute more than half of his paintings. I'm inspired by his paintings because most of his paintings is about seas and nature. I do love nature. This is Ivan Aivazovsky :

Second Assignment Briefing

Final Artwork - Coffee

I choose coffee as my topic because I want to show that coffee actually is good for people. I’ve do my own researched told that coffee is actually one of the healthiest beverage because keeps our brains alert and receptive of new information. I think that reason is quite strong to persuade my target audience to take coffee as their beverage for keep maintain the better performance. I’m using Goudy Old Style font for my title because based on my experienced I drank coffee at some places, usually they use this kind of font to attract the people. I’m using Calibri font for the link is because it’s simple and easy to read for the viewers. I’m just create a simple screen design which is I just put an image of a cup of coffee and little bit of coffee bean, I wanna show to the viewers that when they see the screen design first thing in their mind is about coffee.

Final Artwork - Imagination Nature (Green City)

For this artwork, I’m using my own imagination that show the city in green environment in drawing/sketching version. Actually the purpose for this screen design is to persuade people especially for my target audience which is kids and early teenagers for protect and preserve nature even lived in the city. They still can learn how to save the nature. I’m using Felix Titling font because I think that font is suitable for the screen design and it can attract the audience to explore the web/apps is all about. The reason why I’m using the green colour for that font is because it is about nature. Usually green represent for the nature. I’m just changed the colour of the link to the light colour so that people can easily see the link at the below, the Eifil Tower and add the rainbow at the left side.

First of all, i want to say that this screen design is not about Starbucks branding but this is about coffee. I choose coffee as my topic because i want to show that coffee actually is good for people. I've do my own researched told that coffee is actually one of the healthiest beverage because keeps our brains alert and receptive of new information. I think that reason is quite strong to persuade my target audience to take coffee as their beverage for keep maintain the better performance. I also put a quote from Ronald Reagan, talk about coffee to convince more my target audience to go to the website and start to drink coffee. I'm using goudy old style for my tittle which is "Coffee" because based on my experienced i drink coffee at some places that sold coffee, usually they use this kind of font to attract the customers. The font colour that i used is brown because it represent colour of coffee.

Steps For Coffee

For this artwork, i'm using my own photography photos to make a screen design. I'm using masking tool to edit the "coffee" and rearranged the photos using adobe photoshop cs5.

Artist Statement

For this artwork, i'm using my own imagination that show the city in green environment in drawing/sketching version. But the truth is, this is not my official screen design for this topic so maybe i may change the concept of the screen design.

Steps For Imagination Nature

For this artwork, i'm using wacom bamboo for sketch and draw the main subject which is building and green nature. Then i finish up the artwork using adobe photoshop cs5.
