Artist Statement (for application)

For my final assignment or project, i decided to choose "Soul" which is my second assignment to be my interactive application. The reason why i'm choose this topic is because  i'm interested to explore and persuade people to talk about beautiful. Beautiful is a subjective and everyone got their own opinion about beautiful. For me, beauty is not only pleasure to the senses; beauty is being pleasant on the inside which transfers to the outside.  Beauty is accepting and embracing once unique interior and exterior qualities. Plus, i add something in this topic which is it's about life. I put some motivation or inspiration quotes at my application to people who lack of confidence, ashamed with themselves and to everyone. 

Overall for my application, i'm created it as minimal and simplicity as i can. Besides that, i also put a music on my each of the links or pages which is when people click on any links, the music will come out in line with the visual.

Artist Treatment

For this artwork, basically i'm using my own photo using dslr Canon 550D. For editing, i'm using Adobe Photoshop CS5. 

For my interactive application i'm used Adobe Flash Professional CS5 and CS6 with ActionScript 3.0 setting.

Process - Interactive Application

First page/scene is loading bar. I'm just using my own photo which is a beautiful flower as my loading bar to attract people to know about the application itself.

Second page/scene which is the homepage for my application. There are 3 options which is concept, beautiful quotes and flowers so that people can choose and explore all the three options link.

Third page which is this is the first link of my application, "Concept". This page explain what's this application all about and some information about beautiful and life. 

Next page is for "Beautiful quotes" link. This page is to gives some motivation or inspiration to all the readers. 

Last page which is for "Flowers" link. This page give some photos of three choices beautiful flowers, hibiscus, red frangipani and daisy. Plus, i also put a music in every each of the links. When people click at the link, the page will come out with the music. This process i'm using Adobe Flash Professional CS5. 

Progress - Interactive Application

For the final assignment, we're required to develop an interactive application based on Assignment 01 and Assignment 02. So i decided to choose my second assignment as my topic which is "Soul".
